    How to Use a Fire Blanket

    1. Pull  the tabs firmly to release the blanket from its case.
    2. Protect your hands  by wrapping the blanket edges around them.
    3. Place or lay  the blanket gently over the flames to smother the fire — do not throw it.
    4. Turn off heat sources  (if safe to do so).
    5. Leave the blanket in place  until the fire is completely out and cooled.

    ⚠️  Safety tips:

    • Ideal for  cooking oil fires, clothing fires, and small liquid fires.
    • Never reuse a fire blanket once it has been deployed.
    • If the fire is too large to control, evacuate immediately and call  999.
