    Fire Extinguisher Maintenance

To ensure your extinguishers are always ready in an emergency, they must be regularly checked and maintained. A quick  visual check  should be carried out monthly to make sure the extinguisher is in place, undamaged, and the pressure gauge is in the green. A  full service by a qualified technician  is legally required once a year to test, weigh, and certify the unit. Every 5 years, most extinguishers also need an extended service or replacement depending on type. Keeping up with maintenance not only ensures compliance with fire safety regulations but also gives peace of mind that your equipment will work when needed.
